Bit Part in a Political Ad

Today I spent about an hour and a half making a 5-10 second spot for a political ad for Kenneth Rice, GOP candidate for Congress from Oklahoma's District 1.

The process was easy, kind o' fun, and took surprisingly long for what will be so brief, even if it's included in the ads that air.

We were filming at LaFortune Park, among the green trees and grass. The weather punctuated our filming with thunder, at appropriate places in the script, of course, followed by a downpour...definitely not in the script. We called a "wrap" over walkie-talkies in our cars where we dashed for shelter.

Ads won't start running for a couple weeks, and then will be shown frequently for the four weeks leading up to the Primary on July 27.
